Jabez Ivan Joshiraj is a dynamic leader and people person with a passion for building businesses from scratch. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he is currently the Director of Business Development at techjays, where he is responsible for heading the entire sales and marketing funnel, developing the team, and growing the business as per the company's goals and vision. Jabez possesses exceptional leadership qualities, and he believes in empowering those he works with and giving them a sense of responsibility. He enjoys working in different dimensions and takes satisfaction from the process of taking projects and learning and growing himself. He has observed distinct perspectives from diverse people from different systems and can help startups grow with his overall experience. Jabez is grateful for having two hands, two legs, a working brain with a beating heart, eyes to see, ears to hear, and a mouth to speak. He believes that the best way to empower those around him or her and help build the people who build businesses, companies, and countries. In his current role, Jabez is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and initiatives, developing sales channels selling into the market for B2B, directing product lines, and providing management and leadership expertise to coordinate sales efforts. He also supports and helps sales teams to close sales if required and develops professional close relations and maintains regular communication with reps, customers, and internal staff. Jabez has previously worked as a Sales Partner at techjays, where he brought in business and generated leads, and as a Founder at Startup Africa - Support Group, where he engaged with highly experienced and business professionals to provide business consultancy for a complete end-to-end business start-up process. Jabez holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karunya University and has completed his high school from the American International School of Mozambique and Maputo International School.
